This design scoops up the wastes letting clean litter to fall back into the tray. I would prefer the plastic slot part to be a little thicker as it's a little on the thin side so it's more flimsy than rigid, if used heavy handed it would break, therefore I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The price is good for the quality. The size is perfect for the job.
