But it's very poor beyond that. The speaker is too quiet to hear people well, even at its max volume. People say they can barely hear me at all when I speak in a call using the speaker / base microphone. If you pick up the handset during a speaker call it does correctly switch the call over to the handset, but then you can't later switch back to speaker; you have to hang up and dial in again on speaker. There's a mute button, but no visual indicator at all to say whether you're currently on mute or not (amazing, since there is a display screen where they could have shown this). You just have to hope the button press carried out its action, and you just have to remember what you think it did last time you pressed it. This is a total nightmare for doing work conference calls. You're never 100% sure whether you're muted or not, you need to repeatedly ask people if they can hear you, etc. I've tried to tolerate all this for a while, but just going to go buy another phone.
