Life changing.
The build quality, sturdiness, and design considerations that went into this trike are excellent. My wife has some physical limitations, and this has let her get fully back into our family bike riding trips. She can pedal as much or as little as she likes, and when she has trouble pedaling at all, she can switch over to full power-assist mode (mode 5) and let the trike do the work. It's given her back a level of freedom and activity she hasn't been able to enjoy in years. There's an increasing number of these things to choose from. Ultimately, we settled on the Emojo Caddy Pro based on:• Reviews• Ruggedness (it's a LOT sturdier than ones that are clearly meant only for flat, paved, straight suburban bike paths)• Size and weight (BIG, but not too big & heavy to lift onto our car's piggyback hitch for longer trips)• Range• Variable power-assist options, and how they're implemented• Style of included seat (backrest)• Cargo capacity• Multiple gears/speeds (7)Controlling a trike--especially one this big--takes some getting used to. Whereas I accomplish most of my turning on a bicycle simply by leaning, with very little handlebar motion, leaning on a trike gets you nowhere. It can be a lille unnerving at first, leaning to turn yet simply keep going straight (towards that bush, parked car, cliff edge, etc.) until you re-learn that 99% of your turning control is in the handlebars. After that, it's very easy to make tight or wide turns (though I still instinctively lean). The documentation and instructions for assembly are... not great. I was given a link to PDF's of the new version of the docs. v2 does include improvements over the printed v1 copy that came in the box, but mysteriously leaves out some things that v1 covered thoroughly (if not always clearly). Steps in both seem oddly sequenced at times, and are sometimes too high-level. For example, after running the chain through the rear derailleurs, there is no guidance on how to adjust the pull to ensure that all gears, 1 through 7, are reached as expected and as the shift gauge indicates. I found the right screws to adjust by guesswork, but succeeded only by going into High Nerd mode.(DISCLAIMER: I'm not a professional bike technician. I'm barely even an amateur one.) I suspect many buyers would have tremendous difficulty assembling this on their own, and zero chance if they aren't already pretty mechanically inclined. The tools for assembly that come with the trike are generally adequate, though some seem to have no use and some I often had to substitute or supplement with others or better ones, such as ratchet tools, electric drivers, adjustable clamps, and a vice grip. If you worry that you're not up to the task of assembly yourself, I would track down someone who is. If a local bike shop, you might want to ask what their 2-hour labor rate would be for assembly, and have the whole thing shipped directly to them. A good tech may be able to finish it in 1 hour, but I'd be amazed if they could include all the unboxing and parts identification in that time, too.)The instructions also insist that I'd receive the product in two large boxes. It actually came in three. Not a problem, but odd. Many small nuts and bolts are included, but specs and intended use for each is absent. If there's a guide to which bolt size and length to use for each application, I couldn't find it. Bolt selection usually came down to logical guess, process of elimination, or "well, this is the only bolt I have left, so..." While everything fits together and seems to be assembled in pretty much the only way possible, I ended up with six extra small bolts and was short four slightly larger ones. Sigh. Thank goodness I'm surrounded by Home Depots. The baskets are so solid and sturdy, one could comfortably use them for organ transport, or a collection of organs in the form of a small human child. (Note: This would probably not be considered legal in any state.) However, they're also very skeletal (I'm referring to the baskets, not the children) -- fine for holding large objects, like backpacks or boxes (or children), but forget about throwing your keys, phone, or wallet in. They'd simply fall through. A skinny child might do the same. A fitted liner for each basket would be a welcome accessory, but none appears to be offered.Overall, a great purchase. My wife calls it the greatest thing I've ever bought for her. Also, although the parts are made off-shore, I like that I'm supporting a company based in my own home state. Highly recommended for anyone who loves biking but for whatever reason needs something other than a non-electric 2-wheeler.

I did not get installation instructions In the shipping boxes.
I did not get installation instructions. I have a bag of bolts and nuts and no idea where or which to use where. to. How ever when Davis Hu found out he immediately emailed a copy of the instructions and a video showing the assembly method. David has made him self available by phone while I assembled the trike. That is what I call customer service.I have not ridden it enough to give a long millage review but, to the mail box and back and around the block walking my dog it has been What I truly wanted.Ed

Your First Ride - WOW !
NASA would do well to consider Emojo for the construction of the next USA Mars vehicles. The Caddy framework is very well designed, smooth craftsmanship and being white, already looks "space age". David Hu, Founder and President of Newmark Sports has been on the phone with me several times to help work-out some questions I had. The Emojo "Caddy" is a very popular trike. You'll have fun being part of the construction crew. Then your first ride will blow you away - the torque of the motor is amazing ! Be safe, you will have fun.

Amazing trike
Awesome trike it is very well built and worth every penny. I have a fat tire bike too the trike is for my wife. It is a very involved build I had a local bike shop assemble it for me but again, worth every penny. I kind of wish I had gotten two trikes.

Poor quality
The bike rusted within 2 months of using it. The seller was entirely unresponsive and tried to blame the rust on me. I expect better quality when spending over 3k on a bike. Would not recommend this bike or this retailer to anyone looking for an electric bike.
