Also does it need a dedicated circuit? My electrician asked these questions. Thanks.** A: Hi, The Clean Sense doesn't need a dedicated circuit.The total maximum draw, according to the specifications is 1270 Watts or around 10 amps, but thats if your running everything at Max.We run the heated seat at medium as well as the water temp, which are all adjustable. We also run the fan at medium.Unfortunately I really don't know what our amp draw is at this lower demandI did run a new circuit from the panel and installed a GFCI so the 4 foot cord would easily reach. We bought the elongated and installed a new elongated tall toilet because the seat just has that little extra room.We love it and plan to eventually buy one for the second bathroom,Hope this helps **Q: Is the seat part made of plastic or wood? If plastic, does it seem like it won't break?** A: Plastic - if you jumped up and down on it, likely it would break. But my 200+ lb. butt doesn't seem to faze it...seems quite adequate (and comfortable). **Q: Does it come with a filter?** A: It comes with a coal filter to deodorize, but not with a water filter! **Q: how long before battery need changing** A: At 3.5 months I realized that the remote had to be much closer to the bidet & frequently had to press buttons more than once. When I first noticed this was about 2 weeks before I changed the battery.
