The lower feels good because it's not see through, but feels coarse on the top and sleeves.The waist sits high and not on the waist - not exactly like empire cut, but almost.The belt is attached to the sides like a normal maxi - so it can be tied either on back or on front.The neck is a simple cutout so there is no front/back to the dress. It is the same from both sides.The length is on the shorter side. Even for a 5+ feet height, it is riding above the ankles.Stitching is very rough (long stitch) so even if it fits perfectly, another round of all over machine stitching is required.Slightly disappointed because I was expecting a look of something like the wraparound skirts of similar variety - but this is more like a maxi/house-dress, and that too not long enough. The fabric is too thick for summers, and to wear in winters will look better with a chudidar/tights perhaps.
