It’s not the best, but definitely not the worst either. The biggest issue I had is with the magnetic base—it’s not very strong. When I placed it on the top of my car, it kept flying off or sliding on the side of the window, which was frustrating. (Yes my car is magnetic) However, once I mounted it on the roof of my house (second floor), it worked great! The reception is much better compared to the stock antennas that come with most Uniden scanners.
