Worm Bombs make it easy to grow beneficial worms and establish worm colonies in your garden, planters, raised beds or compost pile. Ready-to-hatch cocoons of up to six types of worms are contained in small clay balls (Vermipods) that make them easy to handle and store. They're packed with "exciter" paper" that helps baby worms thrive. Simply hydrate the package contents and plant in a shallow trench in warm soil (60 to 83 degrees F.) Complete instructions are included. Worms will start hatching in approximately 10 to 22 days, ready to start feeding on biological microbes contained in soil, shredded food scraps and yard trimmings. Use one Worm Bomb for every 50 square feet of garden space. Includes up to six worm species: Aporrectodea caliginosa (grey worm),Dendrodaena veneta (European nightcrawler), Eisenia andrei (tiger worm), Eisenia fetida (red wiggler worm), Lumbrieus terrestrie (common earthworm/nightcrawler), Lumbricus rebellus (red marsh worm/European earthworm). Quickly add organic life to your garden or compost. Worms are the quickest solution for converting your lawn or garden from chemical reliance to organic growth. Grow bigger blooms and healthier veggies by nourishing your soil. Worms create important channels down to the roots of your plants and help save water too. Plots can be converted to organic in one growing season by adding one (1) worm cocoon every square foot. Feed hatchlings with food scraps, shredded leaves and other organic material. Avoid application of all chemicals during an organic conversion.

There be worms here!
Follow the easy instructions to the letter, and these worms hatch and grow. A great benefit to my garden and a better method than ordering live worms that are DOA. This is the way to go.

Our "Worm bombs" was a dud
It has been over two months since I have ordered and tried to cultivate this product, and I have yet to see anything come out of it. This product claims to have over 500 worm eggs in it and I have not seen anything that even remotely resembles a worm come out of it. My granddaughter and I followed each of the steps that were provided to grow our worms and have taken every precaution to ensure their growth and still have not produced any worm of any kind. It would be nice if the product actually worked.

Worm Duds
Received worm bomb in the mail and followed the instructions precisely to plant in a number of containers. 22 days later, no worms. I contacted Ecotonix, who were very responsive and immediately sent me another one. 22 days later after setting them out, still no worms hatched. This is the most expensive handful of dirt I've ever paid for. Shame on me for buying from Ecotonix, I guess.
