I've been playing sax and guitar for 40 years so a lot in this book was already familiar to me. BUT....I was surprised how much additional information was included along with the music theory fundamentals. It's written like the author's having a conversation in real time and addressing questions that anyone would have during a presentation. Really well done. I got a lot out of it. As good or better than any I've read.

This book is barer than even the bare essentials, and the layout is very rudimentary and not professionally done. With all the other books out there for a similar price, this book is not a competitive choice.
