The enclosed video and tools were very helpful - changeout took me 10-15 minutes. Car GPS units are not designed to be handhelds and the batteries cannot power them very long, but during testing this replacement battery gave me a good one hour of usage before running out, which I consider better than most. I keep my GPS connected to the car power anyway, so the battery is only needed if I want to keep the GPS active when the car key is turned off.One note - the video did not clearly explain this, but the original battery is held in place with a sticky material. I first had some trouble removing the old battery, thinking it was held in place mechanically. You just need to pry it out with the tool they supply. It came in quick, well packed and complete, as described. The supplied plastic pry tool included made opening the Magellan's case easy. The included DVD showing the proceedure, which is also on youtube, was very helpful.
