I can then mount them to a foamcore board (using glue on the back on the contact paper). This way I can keep a jigsaw assembled without having to glue it permanently. I can dismantle it later if I want to do the puzzle again.For this purpose I need a contact paper that's easy to work with, sticks well to the back of the puzzle and keeps the pieces from falling off, but doesn't leave a permanent residue when I remove it.I've tried several brands of contact paper, but I've had trouble with them sticking in the past. Some brands I've tried, the pieces just fall off it. The Duck Brand peel-and-stick laminate contact paper is the one thing I've tried that really works and it feels like good quality and it easy to cut and work with. It can be expensive though, given how much I use it. So I tried this "Deco" version with dots. I don't really care what the paper LOOKS like, since it is hidden between my puzzle and the foamcore board.This Deco/dots version is just like the peel-and-stick laminate contact paper. It works great and the price is way cheaper than the white or clear kind. Mainly, organizing items in our fridge, freezer, and deep freezer. I planned to label bins in the fridge, bins in the freezer, and the top of the deep freezer. I also ended up using it on the outside of our refrigerator.The adhesive sticks well to the bins and door bins in the fridge, but it isn't fairing so well in the freezer, likely due to the temps and moisture. It was worth a try though. It also sticks very well to the lid of our deep freezer (where I write, in categories, what is in the freezer so I can keep record without digging through) and the stainless steel fridge (where I've used it to write dinners, lunches, and breakfasts for the week). So far the dry erase markers erase cleanly. I did write on some with permanent marker where I didn't want it to erase (ex. headings like "dinner" or "veggies"). Typically you can "erase" permanent marker from dry erase material with nail polish remover -- we will see if this proves true if the need arises.Overall, it is a good value for a decent product.
