They have silicone on the palm so you have a good grip. The fit is snug and easy to get off and on. They do have a short wrist collar, so they will go right under a long sleeve without bunching up. These work well with touch screen, the extra-grip places on the palms are nice, nice stretchy material. soft and flexible, appear to be decent quality. For cold weather protection, perhaps in temps above 40degrees F they are okay. These are not the best for keeping warm while cycling in below 40degreesF, which is the reason for not the full 5-star rating. My hand measured 8.9". Could have gone with L or XL. I purchased L and should have gone with XL.
