These are helpful because when you look at the actual impression you notice things you normally wouldn’t. Take this picture for example, the caulk built up on the right corner made the impression show a rounded corner in one spot that you might not have seen otherwise.I’ve had friends that complain about their pins slipping, messing up their measurement. This one does not slip. You need a little pressure to slide the pins where you want them, then gently move the gauge to wherever going. A little pinch pressure won’t hurt but not entirely necessary. There is a metric and SAE ruler on the black part which is useful to within a 16th of an inch. The pins are not quite a 16th of an inch, 16 together measure around 15 and a half 16ths, so very close. Good enough for my trim work because i’m caulking small gaps anyway. Unless you are doing very fine craftsman work, this will work well for you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2020* The angle finder works well.
