The blue ones have a mirrored effect so you cannot see the eyes. The black ones are not mirrored but are very dark and you can barely see the eyes if you are really close. From a foot away or farther you cannot see the eyes. **Q: Are they photochromic** A: If you choose the photochromic option they are but remember it's uv reactive and most vehicles have a uv coating on them so they won't darken much driving **Q: What percentage of light do these block?** A: They are not terribly dark. The amber lens softens and refines what you see. Great for blocking gkare on partly cloudly days or in full sunshine. Exceptional value for an active outdoor lifestyle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not good enough to keep *by B***N on June 23, 2025* Pretty good sunglasses though not good enough for me to keep. The legs on the sunglasses were too tight on the back of my ears, as the flexible material was pretty strongly flexing inwards towards my skull. For some people, they may like that so the glasses stay on, but it somewhat hurt my head while wearing these & driving. The size of the lenses themselves were also slightly too small vertically, so I could see out the bottom of the glasses and a little bit on the sides, which particularly could be annoying/dangerous if the sunlight hit the side of my eye while driving. The material is really soft though and the nose pads feel really good :) The lenses were perfect darkness & polarization so the main function works well.
