Review: Great lamp - The quality is great and it matched my set perfectly Review: Over priced some aspects are poorly constructed. . - I like the style of lamp they were going for but the construction of the shade is terribly sloppy. The lamp finish is somewhat different from the picture. They did not use real mica panels. The pieces of cheap imitation mica ie. plastic are not cut well and light showes through on the sides. Also the tabs that hold the cheap imitation mica panels at the top are visible in some places and they shouldn’t be visible. There is no plastic grommet where the cord goes in to the metal lamp base and the insulation on the cord could be abraded by the sharp metal where it enters the hole. Overall I’m very disappointed with the quality. It’s not worth my time or aggravation to return these so I will take the shades to a local stained glass shop and have the panels replaced with actually mica cut properly.
