I also have a four year old preschool boy, who is more likely to be exposed at his age than my daughter. I use a quick spritz of Levia on his hair in the morning before taking him to school to comb out his "bed head" and he, too, has been lice free for two years. After having our home upended twice with combing, washing all clothing and bedding in hot water, reinfestations, sibling infestations, etc. that come with lice, even in the cleanest home, this product is a very inexpensive and useful preventative product for daily use. Review: Great Product, Bad Spray Nozzle - As someone that works with elementary aged students, I was in need of something to protect me from lice. Each week another student in my class would catch lice, I was almost certain that I would not make it through the year without getting them as well but this product seemed to ward off the pests wonderfully. I did not mind the smell, it was definitely more pleasant than other anti-lice products I have used. One thing I did dislike was that the product was dispersed in a stream rather than a spray. I found that this detangler would just sit on certain areas of my scalp rather than reaching the entirety of my head even after I combed through my hair. The nozzle gives out a strong spritz too so it's easy to make a mess with the product in your bathroom if you aren't holding the bottle close to your head when using. It has a strong essential oil smell so ... *by K***5 on May 12, 2017* I bought this after getting notice from school to look out for lice. I am hoping using this will help the lice skip our home. So far so good. It has a strong essential oil smell so that is good. But the spray bottle doesn't mist, it gives a one stream spray so it is hard to cover the whole head. I've been spraying it on parts of the scalp and trying to brush through then. Not ideal though.
