Im 5’5” tall, weigh 140# and size 34D chest so I bought a size 8 and it fit perfect. I did have to have the length altered shorter even with wearing 3” heels. I wore this dress to the Marine Corps Ball andni got a ton of compliments on it. The fit is very flattering and the dress is well made. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, but my alterations were extensive. *by J***N on September 5, 2018* I loved this dress, it turned out beautiful. I did have to alter it though, I usually wear a size 8-10 in these style dresses so I ordered a 10 it fit well in the waist but the length between the neck line and waist was too long, so with great hesitation I removed all the bead work from the neck and shortened the chest of the dress a good 3 inches maybe even 4, that was easily done, however I then had to hand sew all the bead work back on. Also having to remove the built in bra cups and realign them and cut and rehem the length about 8 inches. I'm 5'5 I also went barefoot for my wedding. The alterations took about 5 or 6 hours. But it was worth it to me. Not sure if ordering custom sizing would fix the length of chest.
