To get it to do more than once a day, when you are setting the "how often" use the "minus" (-) button and it will go from one day to every 12 hours to every 6 hours, etc. The one from Walmart was a little cheaper, but is more complex to program, requiring you to put in times and so forth. This one is so easy! Tell it the current time, tell it when to start, how often, how long. Really works great, and has "manual" button for when you just want to run it on your own. Super! **Q: Can this system be converted to use container water?** A: It has to have pressure to operate. Mine is hooked to a hose attached to a hydrant. I suppose you could rig up a pump if you only have water in a container, but you would have to have a submersible pump in a large container of water. **Q: Can I buy extra nozzles for this kit?** A: Yes you can. **Q: I need more nozzle, where can I get it?** A: From the manufacturer, I was unable to find them on Amazon. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, simple product *by K***C on March 3, 2016* I have a small home greenhouse and I needed a misting system so that I do not have to check plants on such a frequent basis. On sunny days, I found I would need to check the seedlings at least every couple of hours. This meant I couldn't be gone for a whole day. In conjunction with a timer that I can set for anything from once an hour to once a day with varying lengths of time, I can leave without risking the loss of new seedlings. I also found that it will provide sufficient water for plants that are bigger, at least for a few hours. It sets up easily and can be adjusted for whatever size you need. I liked it enough to recommend it to my sister, who also purchased one for her home greenhouse. If you are going to use it for propagation or watering, you must get a good timer. ### ⭐ Cheap Plastic *by B***N on June 18, 2024* This made it just over 30 days before busting which is just beyond replace/refund window. Out of commission until I purchase a better quality replacement part. I ordered this system to help me out. Now it's like a rain forest in there. I have both regular growing area and an aquaponics system set up. I have a mist head over the aquaponics, and all the other heads on the other half of the greenhouse. Works just fine. Took me about 45 minutes to put it up -- would have been faster if I had done it BEFORE I put plants in and had to weave in and out among them to put in the line. A fine, fine mist of water that the plants are lapping up. 10 minutes twice a day and it's handled.
