Ideal daytime temperatures are between 65° - 85°F. Do not apply if air temperatures are expected to exceed 90°F. On Bermudagrass, do not apply if air temperatures are expected to exceed 85°F. At high or low temperatures, weeds and grasses shut down to protect themselves and will not readily absorb enough weed killer to be killed. Hot temperatures also increase the risk of damaging the lawn.
