These aren't quite it, but they sure come close. The bass is good--but not great (IMO), but in the mid-range and highs it shines. No other pair of earphones I've acquired thus far can compete with the crisp highs this thing produces. You really don't know how much you're missing with other earphones until you hear the clashing of cymbals--how clear and vibrant they are. With the other earphones, that range was subdued. Now, I'm sure if I spent a kazillion $$$, I could achieve the same thing, but for under $50, I am impressed. My only concern is the build quality--specifically the cord. It is easily tangled and bent all over in irregular angles (easily becomes rat's nest)--and the plug looks like you have to be careful with, else you pull the wire out. Time will tell. Otherwise, if its the high range you're missing, give these a try.[EDIT] I wanted to clarify about the bass. It is solid, just would be better if a tad deeper. I own other earphones that have more robust bass, but they don't have the clarity of the upper ranges like these do. For the price, you can't go wrong--which is why I ordered a second pair. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Shock Therapy *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2017* If only these lasted longer than one month! At first these were amazing, the sound quality was great and they didn't seem flimsy. After one week however they started giving me shocks! Actual, electric shocks delivered straight to my ear. It got to the point where I couldn't walk around with them in my ear because every step would be painful! Even worse, it started to mess up the sound. It would cut in and out and get distorted, like the car radio when you get out of range. Now if I try to listen to music it sounds like five dollar airplane headphones. These headphones are under warrantee, but the card that came with the headphones is all in a different language, it's going to be impossible to return them! Extremely disappointed with these.
