These stood out as they looked different from the usual hiking, snow or welly boots that seemed to be all that was on offer.I actually hesitated before ordering as I didn't think they were going to be as good quality as they looked, especially as they are so reasonably priced.So glad I ordered them! They are so well made, with a durable rubberised sole with deep treads, sturdy zips with the addition of a zip gusset, long laces and warm faux fur lining.I have very slim legs and, as well as the zip fastening, I could adjust the laces so the boots fit snuggly around my legs. If you have larger calves, the laces are long enough to allow for plenty of adjustment.The quilting on the leg, and the wonderfully cosy lining, make these really warm, comfortable boots to wear for all types of occasion. I not only wear them for more rugged walks, I wear them as casual boots with skinny jeans and for long days on my feet. I absolutely love them and have had so many great comments. They're amazing value for money and I can't recommend them enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely boots! Great quality *by J***W on 29 November 2018* I researched snow boots for my upcoming holiday to New York and settled on these boots in the grey colour. Ordered Friday and arrived Monday so super quick delivery!They arrive in a zip lock bag which will be great to take away with me in case they are wet or dirty. On first trying them I thought they weren’t going to go over my large calves but then realised the laces can be loosened which makes it easier to fit and they zip up allowing you to tighten the laces once on.I took advice from reviews and ordered a size up due to the lining. I’m usually a 5 so ordered a 6 and they are perfect. On trying them on they felt so lovely and warm and comfortable. I needed a boot with a flexible but not too hard a sole due to a foot condition. They aren’t very heavy either which is good if I decide to put in my case. I haven’t worn them for a long time yet so can't say how comfortable they are when walking distance but I’ll be sure to report back when I’m home from NYC and give an update. Over all I’m really pleased with them and they are great value. I’ve read a few people’s reviews who’ve said they have been really hard wearing so if I can get to wear them at home over the winter and even next year I’ll be pleased!Only marked 4 starts as I’m not able to comment on long distance comfort yet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Appear to be pretty good value *by J***E on 1 December 2016* Well I can't claim to have road tested these yet but for the price they seem pretty good value.Size - I am a 38 normally and the 38 was a very snug fit so stuck with the size 39 so I can wear with socks.Finish - They are made from manmade materials throughout and appear to be of quite sturdy construction - lets hope that looks are not deceiving. Lining - The boots are lined from below the knitted cuff and the tongue right the way through to the toes on top and below, so feet should stay warm, they felt very cosy when trying on.Fitting - Laces need a bit of a tug to tighten around the ankle but once done no need to worry you can leave alone.The cuff is not super tight so if you have larger calves don't be put off.Waterproof - Whether or not they are waterproof above the zip line I am not sure as the gusset is just nylon rather than a Gortex like fabric so expect to get wet feet if I go above that line.Sole - reasonable tread nothing to boast about but at the price I will be happy to add some snow grips to improve traction on an icy surface.Stylish - On trend and will look good with skinnies or trousers tucked in.
