**Q: can these be painted to blend in with landscape?**
A: Painting over polypropylene bags might be difficult. I’d go to a paint store and ask about a spray, but the material is porous. It’s possible they could be dyed in a pail of dye before you filled them.

**Q: How much could be loaded into them? 50lbs?**
A: Yes you could probably load 50 pounds into it max . I find the opening to be slightly small.

**Q: Will water filter through the bag if it's being used to dump resin and water in the bag?**
A: I believe the bags are waterproof and water will not filter through.

**Q: Im using them for soil..  how many gallons or quarts do you think it will carry wity the string tied?**
A: For 2/3 full of a 14"-wide (= 28"-circumference) by 26" tall bag amounts to about 1200 cubic inches and with 231 cubic inches per gallon equals about 5.2 gallons.  If you assume the bag made more of a square shape rather than circular, the volume at 2/3 full would be 7x7x(19.3) = 946 cubic inches or 4.1 gallons.  So depending on the actual shape it should be about 4.5 gallons give or take a half gallon.  Hope that helps.

Bags for sand, what to say. They do the job, filled them almost to the top, tied them with the attached string and no leakage. Seems strong enough and doesn't look time they will just fall apart

Great Bags. A++ They are strong and durable for sure. I used them to load up small landscaping rocks less than a year ago. Should have gotten rid of them at the time, but I wasn't finish. So, I had over 30 bags filled with Rocks, weighing about #30 each. They sat in a pile over the winter.They ones on the bottom were fine, but the ones that got sun deteriorated and flake apart and had to be rebagged.Don't leave the bags in the SUN! My big mistake.I would recommend this product!

Description says "Our bags of sand are designed to have up to 1600 hours of UV protection against the sun." Bought these in March, but I'm not sure when I first started using them to transfer sand from the original plastic bags of play sand which had started coming apart after some years. By August the sand bags were falling apart. Considering how many hrs/day there's actually UV radiation and that the bags were in shade for a good part of the day, I was surprised they had started to shred and fall apart so soon, but they probably fulfilled their description. Just need to understand what you're buying. My next buy was for canopy sandbags that are made out of sturdier material, which are still waiting to be used.
