I have a leather sofa which my pets nails don’t agree with hence the cover. It’s a complete nightmare to put on and it looks awful and very untidy not how I like my home to be. It’s lovely and soft also a good thickness if it works for the person purchasing it I’m sure they would be happy with it. I think the best shape of sofa for this product would be one with very clean lines and no fitted cushions. I don’t think it would work for a recliner either. After putting on my sofas you need to use polystyrene rods (supplied) to keep the fabric in place, it did look nice to look at but when you sit down all the polystyrene jumps out of place.
