Review: Plates we actually use every day - I bought the HaWare 6-Piece Stainless Steel Plates for my kids and they have been a really pleasant surprise. I was tired of flimsy plastic plates that crack or stain after a few uses, and these feel like they will last for years. The size is perfect for toddler meals, snacks, or even my own lunches when I want something simple and easy to clean. The metal feels sturdy without being overly heavy, and my kids can easily pick them up and hold them without struggling. After dinner I just rinse them and put them straight in the dishwasher. They come out spotless every time. There are no weird stains or spots that seem stuck on like some other plates we’ve tried. They also don’t hold any odors, which I really appreciate. We’ve also used them for outdoor meals and eating on the patio. They are light enough to carry around but solid enough that I’m not worried about them tipping or sliding around. But they fit our breakfast, lunch and kid dinners just right. We have had our set for about 2-3 years now, and they show no signs of wear, and trust me - we use them all every single day, and I machine wash them every night. They nest together really tightly, and are very light, and are fantastic for camping. The one minor annoyance is they do spin when they’re on the table. So my kids do that lol. Not a huge deal for me, but just a heads up. The cost on these is great, especially considering their longevity, and I highly suggest them!

**Q: Do these plates have rolled edges (which hold water after washed)?**
A: The edges are tightly rolled, so do need a little extra air-dry time but not nearly as much as my Rubbermaid plastic lids that get droplets stuck in the crevices. I have some stainless steel mixing bowls from a different company and those rolled edges are larger and catch more water than these.

**Q: Is there any way to know for sure where the plates are made?  I'll return them if they're made in China**
A: Last I checked, there was no stainless steel manufacturing in the US. China and India do most of the stainless steel processing. A friend of mine was looking for years to bring his stainless steel manufacturing closer to home to reduce his carbon footprint. He never found anyone even in North America to make the part for his product, so he is stuck buying from China

**Q: What is the fluid capacity?**
A: Maybe 2-4 oz. It’s a small, thin dinner plate.
