Thus coat can handle that & I have still been warm. Just a T-shirt & jumper underneath this coat , hat & gloves. Warm as toast!So for those that want to know if this coat will keep out the cold in the UK, this coat is more than up to the job!Good fit, not too tight & not too baggy. This jacket is also hard wearing, I have worn it everyday for the last three weeks in sub-zero temps everyday, all day. Great piece of kit! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent functional Parka, recommend this product & supplier! ! *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 January 2016* It arrived in less than a week which I thought was acceptable at Christmas time. Certainly well packaged, it came in a heavy duty plastic bag & was wrapped in another clear plastic retail bag. It is the standard green colour heavy duty cotton material, very well stitched with 6 pockets, 4 of these had flaps & a button & the other 2 are slit pockets. The Parka is very well lined with darker green material which is very well stitched & comes with spare buttons. There is a very visible company label, Island Trading which demonstrates a quality garment. The Parka is finished with a fur trimmed hood, storm cuffs, a waist drawstring & a heavy duty zipper plus buttons to keep out the cold. I think the material is only shower proof & would benefit from being treated with Scotch guard water repellant spray or similar. Overall, a quality garment for under £40, well worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐ My son loves it *by S***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 December 2018* Ordered a medium size for my son who is about 5ft 10in and slim and it fits fine round the chest and in the arms. However, it is not what I would describe as long - it comes only to about mid-thigh level. It is lightweight but very warm. The outer material is only a cotton-type fabric, not proofed in any way, so I would expect it would get wet and heavy in the rain.
