It is machine washable on cold (delicate) though it should not be placed in the dryer. There are 3 removable wooden rods that slide through the bottom middle and top to help it hold its shape and a metal tension rod with plastic ends that won't scratch up your walls or door frame. **Q: What's the smallest width door that this will work on?** A: This is made for a standard size door way. 42-46 I'd say. You could always buy a smaller size tension rod if need be **Q: The carton came damaged. How many parts besides the curtain and tension rod should be included with this item?** A: The curtain should all be one piece: mini curtains, curtain tabs, and plastic window for the title card pocket are built into it. The curtain rod should be essentially two pieces interlocked that can be twisted to extend or contract the rod. The ends of the rod should have little 'feet' to press into the inside of doorways without damaging the wood/paint surface. Assuming all these features are still present on both the curtain and rod, then you have received all items. Hope that helps. **Q: Will it work if the width of my door is 70cm (27.5 inches)?** A: The adjustable pole used to secure within the door frame can go down to 70cm (with 65cm as the absolute minimum). There will be some bunching of the cloth at the top with less pole to spread out on, but as the rest of the material can be left hanging on the other side of the door frame it just means there will be a pinched look at the very top. We liked the arrangement where the theater can be hung in a doorway, allowing for multiple locations and easy set-up and removal. This has worked very well, and the tension bar at the top is even adjustable to some extent for variable door widths, which as I recall was not emphasized in the product description. The theater is well-made and layout is well designed and colorful, an interesting, almost exotic architectural format. The features with the peak-hole opening at the top and plastic window for a sign at the bottom are great, as well as the tie-back curtains. It really provides a theater experience. We printed a sign with graphics and placed it in the window below, customizing the theater with a name that was meaningful to our grandkids. The only minor drawback was that, given the young age of our grandson and granddaughter, when they put on a show with the theater base just touching the floor the height of the stage was a bit high especially for the 2.5 year old. We addressed this by hanging the stage lower, not a big deal obviously. Our grandkids absolutely love the theater and the puppets, both having grandpa (whose has never done puppetry before) do shows or playing with the puppets themselves. What a great alternative to videos and noisy motorized toys! We are looking forward to many hours of fun with this theater. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to store *by M***M on December 30, 2015* I bought this for my 3 boys. When I was searching puppet theaters I had small and easy to store in mind, this thing is perfect. It is well made, has bright colors and really cute. The only thing I will mention is that there are 3 yard sticks used to weigh down each section of the theater. They slide in and out easily. This is more directed at my kids and NOT the makers of this product. My boys, in the spirit of the new Star Wars movie have been taking the sticks out and using them as light sabers. Word to the wise, if your children are unruly Jedi you may want to add a few simple stitches on the ends of the slats to keep the sticks inside.
