I have a couple of dogs who like to roll around on blankets and rugs and were getting the metal split rings hooked into the fabric. It was terrible to see the little dogs dragging a rug or blanket attached to their collars! At first it was hard to figure out how these worked, but it is actually very easy to use them. Be sure to lock them well. I have been using these for a few months now, and these connectors have kept the tags secure.
