It is large but not too large. Some necklaces look larger in the advertisements than they actually are. I love natural stones, and collect them. I was surprised by the quality, size, and loveliness of the neckless for so little money. I want to purchase the amethyst next. Striking stone and I would be completely head over heels for it, but this is very misleading.Buyer Beware!!! The title for the Opal and a few other stones say hand carved NATURAL stone. It wasn't until later when I read MAN MADE in the specs area. To be fair some of the stones are NATURAL. But you should read about it first. I'm bummed that the Turquoise and Copper, as well as the Lapis and Copper are man made too.I did receive one stone that is Natural, it's gorgeous, and have a couple more that shipped and I look forward to those.But I feel deceived.
