The brush arrived with a piece that was not obvious in the picture on amazon. It should be inserted to provide strength and stability to the brush itself, which consists of independent tows of bristles. I am still trying to figure out how to secure it in place, which makes the product somewhat disappointing. It would be helpful to have instructions explaining how to secure the loose part to stabilize the bristles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ SORCERY! *by J***L on October 4, 2019* This brush actually does work! I suffer from severe tangles and shedding through the process. Like magic I was just able to de tangle my hair from root to end and only lost a few strands. I usually avoid the roots some days because the hair loss is frightening at times. I don’t know how the quality of this brush will stand up over time; I see myself ordering a few between me and my daughter’s 3a and 4a African hair types. I’m taking away one star because I did not receive the annoying clamp that everyone has mentioned lol.
