The amp doesn't push it to its max, so there is more bass I could get out of it with a bigger amp, but that would shake the car too much and make everything rattle. At first, I thought I ordered the wrong ohm rating. Then I realized it was correct for me to run the dual coils in series. It does what I need it to do perfectly.

It's a Cerwin Vega. It's a great speaker. It sounds really good in my car. It's used just to boost the bass enough to sound good. Cerwinvega 8 inch subwoofer vmaxx. This subwoofer is trash! Haven't had it long 3 of them in a box on a prime 1200.1 fosgate amp and tbe sub cone came apart. Do not buy!!!
