I've been a band user for a long time and know what I am doing. This band is covered in cloth, and does not have the stretch a band needs. Sadly it resulted in injury when it snapped and hit me in the face. The good thing about the cloth is it saved my eye - it's only black and swollen. But the band hard to work with. You can't get a good grip, and as I said it doesn't stretch well at all.
