MapEasy's Guidemap to Washington DC Map – February 1, 2008

The two key innovations contained in this map are the restaurants with star rating and rough price (1-4 dollar signs), and the perspective drawings of major buildings. The drawings help you get oriented to landmarks, and I can see that it would be handy to be able to pull out the map and see the restaurants in the blocks around you so you can pick something good and in your price range.As a purely informational map for the other major stuff like museums and monuments, the Borch map has more data (except restaurants) and covers a wider area. The Streetwise map is a little more manageable when unfolded fully. Those two and this one are waterproof and durable. The smallest usable map is the PopOut, which isn't waterproof but is the easiest to fit in a pocket. This MapEasy map is actually probably the second most pocketable, as it's printed on a coated paper that isn't super stiff, and it folds fairly small.If finding restaurants quickly and easily is important to you, this is clearly the choice. And it's a very attractive map that is a pleasure to look at.

It's a good map, with landmarks galore. It's also water proof and easily folded. The only problem I have is that it doesn't go very far North. It stops around Dupont Circle. Would be nice for this same company to make a COMPLETE map of DC with the level they put towards the Mall area.

Shows lots of landmarks and buildings with their shape which helps you identify where you are more easily. Little pricey but a great map and it is coated.

It's cool. artistic. Not sure why the price is what it is but I like it anyway.

This map is all about knowing where you find your favorite store, restaurant fast food hang out...Love it, useful when I get to D.C. with the family!

I have about a dozen of these maps and have used them to get a round NYC, Washington,D.C. and Barcelona, Spain. It's the ONLY map I would recommend as a frequent traveler. It has all the points of interest in a simple format. apart from my Garmin GPS, it's my best resource.

A great overview of Venice! You will never get lost!

Map was outdated. There's a metro line that wasn't even on the map. Luckily we had been to DC before and figured it out.
