One of the most helpful sections is the coverage of shore excursions. Having taken several Disney cruises myself I have found that (even with Disney) they can be hit or miss. The authors go on the excursions and provide feedback or they interview others to get a rating for each excursion. It helps significantly in terms of maximizing the use of your time while on the cruise. They discuss the layouts of the boats, how to get to and from the terminals, where to stay before embarking, how and what to pack, etc. There is not really any topic that is not covered in some detail. I would recommend this to anyone looking at going on a Disney cruise and wanting a "refresher" course or any first time cruiser. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential when planning a Disney Cruise *by J***R on May 10, 2016* I ordered the PassPorter for the Disney Cruise Line as I had LOVED the PassPorter publications for the Disney parks. I have planned more than one Disney family trip and the information came in very handy. We had planned a Disney Cruise and I wanted to be prepared to maximize our trip.Pros - I was not disappointed by this publication… The book came quickly in the mail. It was full of information about all of the Disney Cruise ships as well as the ports of call. We used many of the tips and suggestions both in planning our trip and while we were aboard the ship. It helped us find our way around the ship. It helped us find the best activities and the best deals our entire trip. The book was well organized so that we could find exactly what we needed. We used the reference continually on our trip! There were handy maps and suggestions for the ports. These helped us know when we needed to purchase excursions and when we could explore on our own.I have recommended the PassPorter books to several friends who are planning trips.Cons – The only real negative is that it is hard to keep all of the information about some of the ports and activities. WE have used the book now for two cruises and I should have ordered the up to date version of the book. One of the cruises we took was the first to several ports so there could not be much information included about the options for excursions.The observations and points in this review are completely my own.
