I think the price is not low, but it's fair for the value of preserving the shoes. I applied these stickers to my CL. I did not cut ahead of time as directed. Instead, I applied first, and then carefully cut around the sole. I also smoothed out the air bubbles carefully (any flat tool will do for that). I walked around outside in my shoes, and the stickers stayed put.
