Ordering a better quality plate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Motion activated system explained *by A***N on June 20, 2021* I initially thought that the Motac system didn't work. 1. You have to turn the red dot on first. It will not turn on automatically from the 'full' off setting. 2. Turns off after 2 minutes of no motion. 3. Auto turn on is VERY sensitive to vibrations ! Just stepping harder while walking towards it, to check whether it turned off automatically, wakes it up... I had to actually sit by motionless to confirm the feature 😊 This means it will always be on while carrying or transporting. Hence I'm doubtful of the advertised battery life. That said, I'm happy with it for the price. The slim profile goes well with my Kimber 1911. If you need a plate, it has the same footprint as DeltaPoint and Shield. Searching for a Romeo Zero plate will yield almost no results.
