They measure just over 3.5" and the cutting blade length is about 3/4". They are nice and sharp and make precision cuts - great for cutting nails neatly and without rough edges. They also work for me on toenails which is great - a nice straight horizontal cut unlike the round edge cut of nail clippers......which contributed to an ingrown toenail for me once because the corner was too rounded. Problem solved with these scissors.
