I have a terrible sensitivity to itchiness from wool. But, with that said, I don't wear these over a lot of bare leg. The part that does touch bare skin hasn't been itchy. **Q: My calf is 16.5”. Will these fit?** A: Yes it will fit I bought **Q: How do you wash them** A: I threw them in the washer and dryer. They seemed to get a little loose so afyer drying it made them a bit tighter and they were fine **Q: How difficult are they to pull on? I have limited hand strength and dexterity. I am fairly small, but I have big cyclist calves and quads. I'm 5'3" and these came up a good inch or so above my knee if not scrunched down. I think these would fit most as they seem quite stretchable. I am not sure to what extent they recover their shape after being stretched from wearing.
