I thought about doing the "other" brand ones, but these are worth the extra money since they are the factory product. Front row is cut a bit smaller when laid on top of the original mats. Second row stretches across the entire row which is easier to keep the dirt inside. Both mats are like an insert which allows the dirt/water to be trapped inside. In order for item to be used as directed, it needs to be the only mat on the floor.
