The alcohol hits you immediately, overpowering any actual fragrance. It takes a good 5–10 minutes for the scent to settle, and by then it’s weak and forgettable. At $30–$40, I expected more depth and quality — instead, it just smells cheap and harsh. The problem is, if the perfume is made with a low concentration of oils (say, more like an eau de toilette than an eau de parfum), you’re basically getting a few drops of fragrance in a pool of alcohol. Which is why you spend the first 5–10 minutes thinking, “Wow, did I just spritz on vodka?” before the real notes finally peek through. By then, the moment’s kinda ruined.
