The company got back to me promptly and sent me a new one. The new one works amazingly! I used it to touch up the parts of my hair that had frizzed up and it straightened them up better than the flat iron I own. I usually have a problem with straightening my edges with a flat iron but with this brush it makes it EXTREMELY easy to straighten my edges out. I'm super impressed with this item and I would recommend it to everyone!Edit: They got back with me and are sending me a new one! She is just starting to get into doing her hair and such so I wanted to get her something that would be easy for her to use. I used it on my own hair before giving it to her to make sure it worked well and it was something she’s be able to handle. I have naturally wavy hair and I was very surprised at how well this brush worked to straighten the hair on the back of my head where the waviness is the worst. I was also very impressed with how quickly it heated up. It came on a nice carrying bag to store it in. I just wish I could have found this is blue for my daughter as that’s her favorite color.
