The base is slightly smaller on the king, by about a millimeter but the “T” on top is about a millimeter larger. Overall, it fits as a good replacement. I did try to order Bushwacker trim but the descriptions are so vague without distinction, it is difficult to order the correct one. I returned one incorrect order, and after shipping it myself and a restocking fee, it was basically a waste of time and money. The King trim clearly shows what shape it is with a better description. It works and is as easy install. The trim I removed was 7 years old and needed removal for paint but it lasted. For me, I used it when I was installing new fender flares on my truck. Just make sure you use alcohol to clean the surface or channel where you are going to use the trim. This will remove grease and other residue that will prevent the adhesive from sticking to the trim.
