While I was using it the inner expanding rubber tube came disconnected from the nozzle and shot back like a broken rubber band. As soon as I received this hose I said "wow". H.D. brass fittings, heavy nylon exterior cover (no fraying like the junk polyester ones). I put it to use right away and realized it was way superior to any expandable hose I've had. I tossed my old two and bought another 50' one for the front yard. I'm sure these will last a long time!! If you need an expandable hose, buy these you won't be disappointed! And DIDN’T kink. Frankly I had pretty low expectations when I saw this hose on Amazon. Most ‘Expandable’ hoses I have seen are cheaply made with plastic fittings and hose material that appeared flimsy. So when we received it, I was struck immediately by its obvious durability, brass fittings and gutty appearance. I hooked it up and WOW.......what a cool hose. Did exactly what it was suppose to do and was perfect for my wife to use without getting frustrated at coiling it up or it kinking. I’m buying a couple more.
