We saw this on the show Profit. After everybody, including Marcus Lemonis, saying it has wonderful flavor, we decided to purchase the Sweet Potato flavored pancakes to try. We spent $15 for a 10oz container which is a little spendy but was willing to spend a little more since it was supposed to be one of their best flavors. Marcus even stated he loved it!!! So....this morning we mixed up the batch following the instructions to a "T", which was not a simple process. You first had to take two eggs, separate them. You then had to wisk the egg whites and the buttermilk together then wisk the egg yolks and butter together. You had to combine both liquid mixtures, mix together then add liquid mixture into dry pancake mix. Cooked them up on the griddle, then sat down to try them. The only good thing I can say about them is they did cook up fluffy. As we are eating them we were waiting for the sweet potato flavor to pop up on our tongue. This had no sweet potato flavor or any flavor for that matter! We tasted no spices whatsoever like they said on the show. Total disappointment especially after spending this much on such a small container. We just bought a 5 lb Family Size bag of Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake mix at Grocery Outlet for $4.99. This bag will last us quite a while and it only says to add water instead of the numerous ingredients like the sweet potato pancake mix did.So, to sum up my review...DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR THE WASTED TIME SPENT ON PREPARING IT ON THIS SO CALLED PANCAKE/WAFFLE MIX.See picture...Go buy this family-size Krusteaz pancake mix, way better!!!
