I have a Panasonic and this is much better by ever measure. Second is battery life. I cut my hair once a month. I have had this for three years AND I HAVE NOT HAD TO CHARGE IT! This is nuts to me. I would perfectly happy charing between haircuts but it uses at most 5% battery for a 20 minute haircut. Performance does not change as the battery drains. Lastly is performance. It just cuts well. Many of my previous would clog or struggle with thick hair. This just cuts. It just performs perfectly. The only criticism is that is does not come with side taper combs (spacers). Of course I have boxes of them from old trimmers and they fit fine. So no issue. But it would be good if it came with side taper combs. It is unusual for a product to exceed expectation so dramatically but I would pay 4x or be willing to replace it each year as I had to do with normal consumer trimmers.
