Picot Antacid SAL DE UVAS (Box of 48)

This is the only antacid in this form that does not have ibuprofen or aspirin added. This is important to some people who take nsaids every day for other reasons. It also contains a bit of citric acid that seems to make this works better than alka seltzer. It is hard to find and made in Mexico. I have only found one place in town that carries it. So the price is cheaper here and it is always in stock. Our doctor says it is safe to use even on top of proton pump inhibitors such as zantac, pepcid, etc. We have a acid reflux sufferer in our home so we keep this around when there is a flare even though zantac is in the system everyday. It is for instant relief of break through heart burn. It works instantly and effectively. I highly recommend picot - but you may want to check with your doctor first.

Works as good as any other effervescent antacid but without the aspirin.Slight;y sour taste, but not overbearing. Actually started to like it.

I am trying in vain to find a replacement for Bromo Seltzer. That said, it doesn't taste bad, it is easy to prepare, and it does make you burp.
