Definitely worth your money
I got this tv box for an old tv in the basement that only takes av, so I couldn’t use a fire stick. You can connect it with SB or hdmi cable. This tv box is great! It works very smooth, even in the basement where the WiFi isn’t good. It is small and plays pretty much everything, and it even comes with a micro sd card slot and a usb card slot so you can play your own movies. I use the micro sd card slot to play videos from my drone. The remote is nice and lightweight, and it has some cool features like a mouse toggle button for if you are on the internet and need it. All for only 34 dollars! I definitely recommend this.

Probably not for someone who doesn't have some good electronics experience
It is my first experience with these types of devices.I see a lot of options for a wide range of prices. So I'm unsure if spending more on a similar type of unit is worth the money.I have had zero expectations because I've never owned one before , my only experience with something similar is a raspberry pi device. One complaint is that it sometimes doesnt work well with some apps, but you can find a way to make it work usually.Second is that I dont believe there is any other option for audio output other than the one provided by the HDMI cable. Was hoping you could output through bluetooth or audio jack.

Need Bluetooth and voice controls
No Bluetooth sucks if you want to watch a movie with Bluetooth headset, and not wake up your wife and kids.

This STB is absolutely worthless
...but the company selling it is even worse.I didn't mind paying a little more for it on Amazon than elsewhere, because Amazon can get it here fast. I didn't care that the H3 processor is famously underpowered, or that the manufacturer lied about the performance when it was released in 2014. I was disappointed that the WiFi card in it is 2.4 GHz only, no newer, faster 5 GHz. I was even more disappointed that it has no Bluetooth onboard, so I would have had to buy a Bluetooth dongle. I was let down that the two USB ports are only USB 2.0.But the company being inept I cannot forgive. Back and forth in support, having to explain even the most basic Android information was too much, waiting a day in between each reply was untenable. I'll send it back and pick up something else, there are countless better options. My use case required a cheap box for a specific app, to offload BlueStacks from a server, so I ordered one from the fastest, most reliable place I know of - Amazon. And they did their job admirably. But the box is going back, it is trash.

Streams Youtube well, but not so much other content. Slow Firefox performance too.
It has a simple and easy to learn interface. It uses the native Android keyboard (not my USB kb) and the remote can be switched to mouse mode (or it works with a USB mouse). But several apps installed from its own sources (Google Play and Aptoide) did not play at all, and others both loaded and operated slowly. Youtube and Netflix worked great. Web sites with their own embedded videos played very poorly.I regret buying this because the purposes i wanted it for are those things that are the most disappointing. Your needs may be different.

This thing here...
The best thing about this product, if you want to call it that, is that it does everything is says... Just not very well or easily. My old Blu ray player was no longer supported by Prime Video, Netflix, and several other streaming apps. Since my player was just fine, I figured this would be a much cheaper and easier fix... Here are my pros and cons. The OS:Yeah, it is some sort of version of Android, not 100% sure it's Android 10 though. I can't seem to find any way to update it. I tried to use the update icon it had (in it's lists of apps), however... it just continued "searching" (even after a few hours). So I wasn't able to update it at all.Browser:Good news, it's Firefox... bad news, the device itself isn't supported, so you can't update Firefox to the current version, and all of the add-ons I tried (like U blocker), needed the current version of Firefox.Apps:Such a hit and miss on this one... It has Google play, so you can download a lot of apps... However, it comes with some weird version of google play(?), that doesn't have Netflix (or several other apps I use) on it. I was able to download Amazon prime video (Prime Video), however, I was not able to place the icon for it anywhere easy to get to. In order to use Amazon Video, I had to open google play, access the list of my apps, select Amazon Video, and then select the "Open app" menu item. That was the only way I could use Amazon Video, and I would have to do that every single time I wanted to use the app.The USB ports:It does have 2x USB ports, but I didn't try to clock them to see if they were USB2 or USB3. They did allow me to use a mouse and keyboard, and did allow access to files on a USB thumb drive. This is where it gets interesting... When playing back any videos, it would shut the video off after about 5 minutes in. So, if you have old VHS movies that you have digitized (or anything else for that matter), you will probably not be able to view anything more than about 5 minutes of them.Special Notes:1) The user manual only has 4 pages of instructions, and is all pretty basic stuff, what plug goes where, etc. Not much help, but those 4 pages are in like 8 different languages.2) While accessing files, anything that had sub-folders inside of a main folder, seemed to just get deleted. For instance, if you had a file marked "VHS", and several folders inside, like "Birthdays", "Graduation", "Fishing with the kids", with corresponding videos inside.. the only folder accessible would be the folder marked "VHS" and it would be empty. And when you check your thumb drive with your computer, all files in said folder would be gone. (So, make sure you have back-ups, I know I'm glad I did).3) While trying to watch videos from my USB thumb drive, after about 30 minutes or so of trying to watch more than 5 minutes at a time, my thumb drives would be extra hot. I'm not sure what would happen if I left them connected longer than that, while trying to watch videos, but I wouldn't take the chance as it might prove to be a fire hazard.4) This device seems like it was thrown together by someone with some basic "know how", but wasn't properly tested to see if it was user friendly, or how well it worked (just my opinion). Conclusion:It does everything it says it can do, just not easily, or user friendly. So I won't even bother with the hassle of trying to get a refund (which if it's anything like the device, it would be more trouble than it's worth). As such, I should have just spent a little more money, and bought a new Blu Ray player, with the apps I wanted already on it. So I can't recommend that anyone buy this product.
