This one fit the bill at < $20 and it was wood- bamboo I believe, the kind they make flooring out of I think. It was just a bit difficult to assemble- reason being 6 long screws and a small hex wrench- but nothing too taxing. I think bamboo is pretty hard wood too hence a bit more exertion to get those screws in. This thing is sturdy once assembled. I like that groove in the front too for placing my phone. It raises my monitor to an ideal height. The Gogloo works perfectly. The fact it is wood, rather than plastic, and it matches the shade of my pine shelving unit makes this more perfect. It was easy to assemble and extremely sturdy.
