It's very sturdy, modern (but not too modern...), and looks great in the room. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Screen + magnets = 10/10 *by A***R on April 30, 2026* We bought this to keep our toddler from touching the hot glass on the front of our gas fireplace and it works just as I hoped. The screen gets warm (more towards the top) but not nearly as hot as the fireplace itself. We have a metal fireplace so I purchased a 5-pack of 60x10x3mm black magnets to secure the screen to the fireplace. They blend in well and are very strong. My only advice for those buying it for children is to place something on the floor (ie, a small piece of wood) between the face of the fireplace and the screen to prevent the little ones from pushing the screen in towards the glass since the hinges allow it to move easily.
