It is very well made with a lot of attention to detail put into its design, The wrists of the coat have wrist bans that block the wind and cold from coming up through the sleeves and the hood has an inner pulley that helps draws the hood closer to my face which effectively keeps the wind and cold out. The coat can be zipped and buttoned, but even just buttoning the coat and not zipping it keeps the cold out.The back of the hood has a strip of velcro that the hood can be made shorter by if the hood is too big and falls too far down the face. I used the velcro strip to shorten the hood and the hood fits perfectly now. But I removed the fur around the hood as it made it look as if I had grey, wild looking hair framing my face. But, other than that, this coat really is outstanding.The coat has snaps around the hip area that can be undone to make the coat less restrictive for those who may find the coat too snug around the hips. The coat can also be pulled in at the waist by inner cords which is another great feature of this coat.I am 5'1 and three quarters inches tall and weigh 124 pounds. I ordered a medium because I like to wear heavy sweaters and wanted to have extra space in the coat to accommodate a heavy sweater. I ordered my coat in pink and it really is a very light colored, pretty pink. The medium is roomy enough for me to wear a heavy sweater under it and not feel like a stuffed sausage within it.I just love this coat! I am surprised that it is not priced higher as it very well could be due to how well it's made and how warm it keeps me in cold weather. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Durable Coat *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2024* I needed a new winter coat that was water resistant with a hood that didn't fall over my face. The coat I ordered was true to color, warmth, durability and size. It keeps me warm but not so heavy that I couldn't do quick shopping in it. I love that the double zipper allows for adjustments both at the top and bottom as well as becoming totally disconnected. The buttons are unique and less likely to pop off and no snaps that unsnap when moving around. It has an inside zipper pocket just right for a cell phone or wallet. The only thing I don't like but okay with is that the hood is not removeable. The outside pockets are roomy and warm. I highly recommend this coat or at least this company. I got a large, even tho im more of a medium size. I will have layers under it, so im keeping the large. Its a little roomy but not huge. The sleeve length is perfect, so thats another reason for not returning it; dont want to get a medium and the sleeves be too short. I love the hip length and the side snaps. That will come in handy when im crouching down at work. The outer fabric seems durable against snags and rips, and the sleeve caps and inner waist cinch r great to keep cold out. The hood after taking the fur rim off covers my entire head and the material is puffy around the face, to keep cold out, and the velcro adjustment strap in back and toggle hood cinches are great to have to adjust for custom fit. Even the buttons r secured with little straps, which seems more durable than if they were secured with thread. This is a very well-made coat!
