These are soft and absorbent, which is great because I hate the smooth polyester feel of "nice" restaurant napkins that just repel what I'm trying to wipe off. I was wary of wrinkles, but have not encountered wrinkling. I've left these in the dryer and in a laundry pile for hours, and was still able to fold them into smooth stacks without requiring any ironing. They're not crisp, but I wasn't expecting crisp. The stitching is strong, the material is of decent quality and they are very absorbent. They're not perfect squares, so not for swan-folds or seashells on the chargers. They are cotton; if you want them wrinkle-free, you'll have to iron them. The label says not to bleach them, but that's the first thing I did. They come clean in a regular wash, but I can tell that they will need occasional restoration with bleach.
