It looks like plastic, not like leather. It feels like plastic, not leather. I'm unwilling to damage the lining to prove if it is leatherIt's actually TOO BIG for my needs. It's 3 1/2" by 5 1/2" and I needed something smaller. I'm a working woman... now a farmer and I keep coins and keys in a leather zipper pouch smaller than this which is coming apart at the seams. I don't think this will fit into my blue jeans pocket, so I can't use it.
